MAI started in 2016 with a simple observation: Western anatomy and traditional Chinese medicine are usually taught as if they describe different bodies. They don't. MAI builds VR platforms — BodyMap and AcuMap — that teach both against the same 3D anatomical model, so a structure and the acupoint that sits on it are never more than a headset away from each other.

MAI (Augmented Intelligence, LLC) has locations in the United States and Taiwan, and also builds DigiTwin, a 3D medical imaging tool.
